La Crassula falcata és una planta d'origen africà de clima temperat, de fulles en forma de falç i que pot arribar a fer 50 x 50 cm.
Planta molt vivaç de reg escàs, alta resistència a la calor, tot i que és recomanable protegir-la del sol de migdia a l'estiu, però de poca resistència al fred. De fàcil floració primaveral a ramells de color taronja - vermellós.
